Lada sulah dicincang secukupnya
CARA MEMBUATNYA:
1. Didih air dalam periuk. Masukkan sedikit minyak zaitun dan garam.
2. Rebus spageti dalam air mendidih selama 7-8 minit. Angkat dan tos. Ketepikan.
3. Panaskan kuali dan masukkan minyak zaitun. Tumis bawang putih dan masukkan spageti. Kacau hingga rata dan angkat.
4. Letakkan spageti atas pinggan. Ketepikan.
CARA MEMBUAT SOS:
1. Panaskan kuali dan masukkan minyak zaitun.
2. Tumis bawang putih dan bawang besar yang dicincang, kemudian masukkan cendawan dan udang.
3. Apabila masak, masukkan whipping cream, garam dan lada sulah dan kacau.
4. Masukkan kuning telur dan kacau untuk sekejap sahaja dan angkat. Jangan terlalu lama kerana ia akan berketul.
5 Tuangkan sos ke dalam pinggan berisi spageti tadi. Sedia dihidangkan.

Kemalangan ragut kebahagiaan warga emas

Itulah yang boleh diibaratkan dengan pengalaman getir yang dilalui oleh Azmah Arsad, 58, yang kini setia menjaga suami tercinta, Badrin Mat Resad, 64, yang terlantar lesu akibat ditimpa kemalangan jalan raya awal tahun lalu.
“Suami saya dulu bertugas sebagai pengawal keselamatan. Bagaimanapun pada 18 Januari lalu dia ditakdirkan terlibat dalam satu kemalangan ketika keluar membeli minyak motor di Kuala Lipis. Mujur ada orang yang lalu di kawasan tersebut dan mereka telah membawa suami ke klinik.
“Setelah diperiksa di klinik berkenaan, doktor dapati suami saya perlu di hantar ke Hospital Temerloh untuk rawatan selanjutnya. Namun kerana keadaannya yang kurang stabil, dia terpaksa dipindahkan ke Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur (HKL). “Di sana doktor yang merawat suami saya memberitahu dia perlu jalani pembedahan kerana terdapat pendarahan di kepala.
Namun selepas pembedahan keadaan suami saya tidak banyak berubah. “Selama lebih dua bulan di hospital, suami saya kemudiannya dibenarkan pulang ke rumah dan dibekalkan tilam serta mesin rawatan dari pihak hospital. Kini di rumah dia hanya mampu terbaring. Hanya matanya terbuka dan sekali-sekala dia mengeluarkan suara tapi sukar difahami,” jelas Azmah yang bersedih dengan keadaan tersebut.
Walaupun sedih, wanita tabah ini menganggap apa yang berlaku adalah ketentuan takdir. Malah dia dan anak-anak tidak pernah jemu berusaha agar tunggak keluarga itu pulih daripada kecederaan yang dihidapi. “Setiap hari saya akan memastikan suami berada dalam keadaan bersih. Ubat dan susu akan diberi melalui tiub yang disediakan.
Begitu juga untuk membuang air kecil di mana dia perlu dipakaikan tiub serta beg khas selain lampin pakai buang untuk membuang air besar. “Saya turut mengurut anggota badannya bagi melancarkan perjalanan darah.
Bagaimanapun saya bersyukur kerana dia tidak banyak karenah dan mudah diuruskan. Di rumah kami hanya tinggal berdua kerana anak-anak masing-masing sudah ada kehidupan sendiri. Namun setiap hujung minggu mereka mesti balik ke sini,” tambahnya.

SEPANTAS kilat, dua perompak bermotosikal berjaya melarikan wang tunai ribuan ringgit daripada mangsa. Mangsa yang dipilih pula ialah golongan wanita yang baru sahaja mengeluarkan wang dari bank. Lebih memeranjatkan, perompak yang masih bermaharajalela ini mampu melakukan tiga rompakan sehari, menggunakan taktik yang sama. Hakikat kejadian diakui oleh dua mangsa rompakan nekad ini yang enggan identiti mereka didedahkan.
Mengimbas cara bagaimana kedua-dua mangsa ini dirompak, mereka tidak menolak kemungkinan mereka dirompak oleh kumpulan perompak yang sama. Malah kejadian itu juga berlaku di kawasan yang sama iaitu di sekitar Bangsar. Sama ada melakukannya kerana terdesak, atau sememangnya perompak itu sering menjadikan hasil rompakan sebagai sumber rezeki, apa yang pasti teknik dan taktik rompakan yang dirancang dengan teliti itu menyukarkan mangsa untuk mengenal pasti dan mengecam identiti mereka.
Berpeluang menemuramah dua mangsa rompakan nekad ini, tidak banyak yang mampu diceritakan mereka kerana rompakan itu berlaku kurang daripada sepuluh saat. “Macam tak percaya! Yang saya tahu, cermin kereta saya tibatiba dipecahkan seorang lelaki dan beg tangan saya terus dibawa lari,” kata mangsa pertama, seorang wanita berusia 32 tahun. Mengimbas peristiwa hitam itu, mangsa sebelum itu telah mengeluarkan wang tunai dari bank sebanyak lapan ribu ringgit.
Memandangkan jumlah wang agak banyak dan dia pula berseorangan, dia sentiasa berwaspada dan peka dengan kawasan sekeliling kerana bimbang dirompak atau diragut. “Bila sudah masuk kereta, saya terus kunci pintu dan letak beg tangan di celah tempat duduk. Lega sedikit rasanya kerana tak ada kejadian buruk berlaku sepanjang saya berjalan keluar dari bank ke kereta,” katanya.
Malah katanya lagi, sebelum berhenti di lampu isyarat pun dia masih memandang ‘side mirror’ dan cermin pandang belakang, kalau- kalau ada yang mengekori dan berniat tidak baik, tetapi mangsa mengaku tidak melihat sesiapa yang mencurigakan.
“Bukan saya rasa tak sedap hati, tetapi sekadar berjaga-jaga,” ceritanya lagi. Namun, sikap waspadanya itu sia-sia sahaja kerana mangsa ruparupanya telah diekori dua perompak bermotosikal. Berbekalkan hanya sebilah kapak dan menghentak sekali sahaja pada cermin kereta mangsa, kedua perompak licik tersebut berjaya mengambil beg tangan milik mangsa dan habuan yang diterima mereka tentunya wang tunai bernilai ribuan ringgit.
“Walaupun cuma dua orang, tapi mereka mahir dan pantas. Memang profesional. Ketika penunggangnya memberhentikan motosikal di sebelah kanan kereta saya, yang seorang lagi pula terus pecahkan cermin kereta dan merompak,” katanya. Ketika laporan polis dibuat, polis mengesahkan ada menerima laporan rompakan menggunakan taktik sama, pada hari yang sama.

Ketam Goreng
Bersama Plum Keju Adam
BAHAN-BAHAN:
• 1.5 kg ketam bercangkerang lembut
• 350 gm keju adam (dihiris panjang)
• 30 gm serbuk Cajun
• 25 gm serbuk lada putih
• 150 ml plum sos
• 200 gm tepung jagung
• Minyak jagung untuk menggoreng
BAHAN UNTUK HIASAN:
• Daun salad coral hijau
• Cili merah
• Kubis ungu
CARA MEMBUAT :
1. Bersihkan ketam, gaulkan dengan serbuk Cajun dan lada putih, perapkan
bersama sos plum selama 10-15 minit.
2. Lilitkan hirisan keju Adam ke seluruh bahagian tengah ketam, salut dengan tepung jagung dan goreng di dalam minyak jagung yang telah dipanaskan sehingga masak dan warnanya menjadi kuning keemasan.

• 3 biji nanas Sarawak
• 5 biji epal merah
• 5 biji epal hijau
• 20 biji strawberi

• 20 gm serbuk kulit kayu manis
• 800 ml krim putar
• 150 gm keju Holulu Blue
CARA MEMBUATNYA:
1. Potong nanas Sarawak mengikut ketebalan yang dikehendaki, buangkan isi dan bentuk seperti mangkuk.
2. Susunkan buah-buahan hirisan mengikut cita rasa di dalam mangkuk nanas tadi dan renjiskan sedikit serbuk kulit kayu manis.
3. Didihkan krim di dalam periuk dan cairkan keju sehingga ia menjadi pekat. Tuangkan ke atas buah-buahan tadi dan bakar seketika dalam ketuhar yang menggunakan api di bahagian atas sahaja.

“SAYA tidak menghalang Waheeda untuk menjadi ‘isteri’ Akhil. Dia tahu apa yang dia lakukan dan kami sekeluarga merestuinya,” ujar ibu Waheeda yang ditemui ketika majlis pelancaran program Café Akhil Hayy Musim Kedua di, Restoran Al Rawsa baru-baru ini.
Kenyataan dari ibu penyanyi popular itu merujuk kepada penglibatan anaknya sebagai isteri Ustaz Akil Hayy di dalam program Café Akhil Hayy yang diterbitkan oleh saluran Astro Oasis.
Menjawab soalan apakah tindakan Waheeda menerima tawaran untuk berlakon sebagai isteri kepada Ustaz Akhil Hayy di dalam program tersebut itu akan menghangatkan lagi gosip di antara mereka berdua itu, ibu Waheeda menafikan sama sekali.
“Berkenaan gosip tersebut, semuanya telah mereka jawab dengan jelas. Ia tidak harus ditimbulkan lagi. Sudah-sudahlah tu. Sekarang kerjasama mereka itu adalah atas dasar kerja semata-mata. Kalau mahu fikirkan cakapcakap orang, semua benda pun tidak boleh buat. “Pada saya, tidak ada salahnya Waheeda menerima tawaran itu. Ini kerana melalui watak tersebut, dia juga berkongsi banyak perkara dengan penonton. Pemilihannya adalah mengikut konsep program tersebut.
Malah, saya juga untuk beberapa episod muncul dalam program ini sebagai ibu Waheeda yang juga ibu mentua kepada Ustaz Akhil,” katanya yang juga menyenangi sikap dan keperibadian yang dimiliki oleh Ustaz yang kini menjadi ikon saluran Astro Oasis itu. Dalam pertemuan yang sama juga, ibu Waheeda turut memberitahu Waheeda juga kini sedang belajar dan mengumpulkan pengalaman untuk bergelar pendakwah bebas tidak lama lagi. Disebabkan itu jugalah dia banyak terlibat dengan program-program seumpamanya atas bantuan Ustaz Akhil. “Ustaz Akhil banyak membimbing dia.

Katanya, sepenuh kepercayaan diberikan kepada Waheeda untuk menentukan sendiri calon pasangan hidupnya.
“Baik saya atau bapa Waheeda tidak pernah menentukan siapa calon menantu kami. Biarlah anak-anak sendiri yang menentukan. Ini soal hidup dan masa depan mereka. Jadi, biarlah mereka sendiri yang membuat keputusan. Namun, sebagai ibu bapa, kami tetap memberikan nasihat dan pandangan apabila diperlukan.
“Saya juga tidak pernah mendesak dia supaya cepat kahwin dan sebagainya. Terpulang pada dia. Buat apa nak kahwin cepat kalau akhirnya salah memilih pasangan? Nanti badan juga yang merana. “Lagipun, soal jodoh ni semuanya di tangan Tuhan. Kita rancang pun, kalau Tuhan tak bagi, tak jadi juga. Jadi, kita tengoklah saja macam mana nanti.
